Torres Strait (Tagai)
Kuki
Kuki is the wet season, read when Tagai’s left hand, the Southern Cross, dips toward the sea.
That is a horizon calendar, the same class of knowledge as Gawarrgay’s waterhole posture, but it is not the same calendar.
Island life is monsoon and reef, not emu eggs. Mixing them would be the pan-Aboriginal mashup this library exists to refuse.
Scrubbing the Tagai season clock in /sky dips Crux; it does not run the Gamilaraay emu morph.
Mercury 91 is not affiliated with any Aboriginal Land Council, Torres Strait Islander organisation, museum, or Stellarium. This library cites published ethnoastronomy. It is not a partnership and not a single pan-Aboriginal sky.
